What is a lash lift?
The lash lift procedure has revolutionized old, inadequate perming techniques. Using silicone pads, this technique can lifts, curls, and lengthens your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you 6-8 weeks and is combined with a tint so you can leave the mascara behind.
Can a lash lift be used with other treatments?
Yes! A lash Lift is enhanced when you use an eyelash growth product, such as Lash Boost or castor oil. Black eyelash tint is applied during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes.
Does the Lash Lift procedure hurt?
No the procedure is totally painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it gives you a chance to relax!
How long does the lash lift & tint take?
The procedure takes about an hour to complete.
How long will a Lash Lift last?
A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use of harsh products or heat.
Will I have a reaction to the perming solution?
Very few people have a reaction to the lotion, but you can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand. A patch test is quick and simple. It consists of us placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes. Wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation.
I wear contact lenses, can I have this procedure?
Yes. However, I will ask you to remove them temporarily during the treatment as the eyes will be closed throughout.
Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?
Yes but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
Can I use mascara with a lash lift?
Yes! Unlike eyelash extensions, mascara is totally fine to use 24 hours after your appointment! It’s best to stay stick with mascara that isn’t waterproof as the removal can be harsh on your lashes and could weaken the lash lift.
What is the aftercare?
Please avoid steam and mascara for 24 hours after your appointment. Avoid using any growth serums or oils for 48 hours after your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 72 hours to make any changes to your appointment. Any changes or cancellations after that and you will be charged 50% of your service. No shows will be charged 100% of the service.
